Jack R. Schiff graduated from Long Island University's C.W. Post School of professional Accountancy with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.  He began his career with Jeffrey A. Getzel & Company in 1987 as a staff accountant.  He then distinguished himself as a true leader and became a partner in January of 1995.

Mr. Schiff has extensive experience in all facets of accounting, auditing and tax engagements.  He has high exposure to various accounting software and has designed various computer software for special projects.  The level of expertise that Mr. Schiff contributes to the firm is unparalleled and allows us to better serve our client's needs.

Mr. Schiff is both a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He has also received the certificate of educational achievement in business valuation.  He is a regular contributor to the Make a Wish Foundation and the Steve Kaplan Foundation.  He is also heavily involved in the Townline Association, a group aimed at preventing the building of a power plant in Commack, New York.  A resident of the Commack School District, he was an assistant soccer coach as well as treasurer for the soccer team for four years.

Jack R. Schiff makes himself an active member of the business community by participating in Le Tip International, an interactive networking group where he has enjoyed holding the titles of President, Vice President, and Treasurer.  His skills as both an accountant and a leader assure that Getzel Schiff & Pesce LLP will continue to grow and expand.
